Vivek Mehra is a Chartered Accountant and, since 1997, an Executive Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers in India. With over 25 years experience in the field of Tax and Regulatory consulting, Vivek heads the firm’s Inward and Outward Investment Advisory Service and is based in New Delhi.

Vivek’s areas of expertise include advising on structuring of investment by foreign entities into India and Indian entities overseas and tax and regulatory structuring of mergers, acquisitions and business transactions. Vivek has led negotiation support for scores of JVs and overseas acquisitions. He has good experience in diverse fields such as infrastructure (particularly SEZ), financial services, auto, oil and gas, telecom, entertainment, housing, retail & luxury goods. He has strong relationships at senior levels of regulatory authorities like Foreign Investment Promotion Board, Reserve Bank of India, SEZ Board of Approval and various Central Government Ministries and has been instrumental in bringing about several significant policy initiatives.

Vivek has served as Member of several Study Groups and Committees of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has presented papers at various national and international seminars.
