KHUSHBOO WELFARE SOCIETY
Based in Gurgaon, Khushboo Welfare Society is a non-profit
organization that serves persons with disabilities (PWDs). Since
1995, the Society has provided academic services and training for:
- Special education, occupational, and related therapies,
- Vocational training for photocopying, block printing, tea and
coffee dispenser operating, and home management skills, and
- OPD service for counseling and training parents.
These activities aim to integrate special needs children into
mainstream schooling and employment and to empower parents of PWDs
with respect to legal rights and quality of life.
KWS also provides consultancy services for other organizations
working in the field of disability as well as community-based
rehabilitation services for the village community in and around
Gurgaon to raise local awareness about the issues and rights of
people with disabilities.
