BROTHERHOOD
Brotherhood (National Disability Film and Resource Centre) has
been using audiovisual media to inform people about the issues
affecting the lives of persons with disabilities and to initiate
discussions and dialogue on their integration into the mainstream of
society.
Brotherhood organized the first international special film
festival in March 2003 and again in 2004 aimed at creating
awareness about disability issues through the medium of films.
Brotherhood has also been organizing various orientation,
interaction and association programmes to bridge the gap between
children with disability and other children in Delhi schools since
1994. The issues taken up during these interactions include
rehabilitation of persons with disability, attitudinal problems,
integration and inclusion and barrier free environment.
