The mela would be a platform for demonstrating skill sets, creativity and potential of the differently able, disseminating information on the aids and appliances, avenues and opportunities related to jobs and self employment available for them.

  • Participation by BCF in AIMA / BIMTECH Conference on 18th & 19th July,08
  • The Seventh Annual CSR Lecture was delivered by Mr Rahul Bajaj on 12th July 2008 at India International Centre, New Delhi. Lecture. Mr Rahul Bajaj released the 10 years of BCF report after the lecture. The programme was followed by a tribute to Late Mr Robert Davies, former Founder CEO, IBLF by friends & colleagues, private dinner.
  • Businessworld FICCI SEDF CSR Award ceremony was held on 16th May 08. Shri P Chidambaram, Hon'ble Finance Minister of India was the Chief Guest. Report
  • Abilities Mela in Hyderabad: 25th - 27th April 08. BCF has signed a MoU with LSN Foundation, Hyderabad to work on Disability and related issues. Report
  • The first two day Management Development Programme (MDP) on CSR for mid career professionals jointly organised by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) & BCF was concluded successfully on 22nd & 23rd April 2008 at the IIFT Campus, Qutab Institutional Area, New Delhi. Report The programme was attended by 37 participants from corporate, NGO, Govt agencies etc. The participant organisations included ONGC, NTPC, SAIL, NLC, MMTC, MSPL, Lafarge India, BILT, HSBC, Grant Thornton, Mahindr & Mahindra, Collage Article 13, Maruti Suzuki, Chaddha Group, Ericsson India. The other organisations included Helpage India, National Foundation for India, PIC, Make a Difference, Saburi,the Planning Commission & Punjab Government. Speakers.
