BCF is on the assessment panel of the Businessworld FICCI-SEDF CSR Awards for the last three years. The award is organized every year to encourage and recognize the work undertaken by the corporate in the area of CSR. The CSR initiatives of these companies were taken up for verification based on specified parameters, some of which included: identification of key communities and their needs, leadership, action plan, partnerships, impact, sustainability, reporting…

BCF in partnership with Alcan and International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF) convened the India Assessment Panel in May 2005 in Delhi and in May 2007 in Hyderabad. The US$ 1 million award is instituted by Alcan inc, in order to acknowledge the contribution of not for profit and civil society organizations in integrating economic, environmental and social sustainability for the benefit of present and future generations.
